We've been coming regularly for years, so, initially, some friends said, “Come with us.” They knew about it. And, yes, our children have been, and we've been loads of times. There's nowhere else that matches it. I mean, there are other places that are equally beautiful in different ways. But this seems to have everything.

Well, we've been coming regularly for years, so, initially, some friends said, “Come with us.” They knew about it. And, yes, our children have been, and we've been loads of times. There's nowhere else that matches it. I mean, there are other places that are equally beautiful in different ways. Yeah. But this seems to have everything.

It's so condensed. In Scotland, it’s ai square miles, but this is all within, well, perhaps five miles by five miles. I am guessing, but it's something like that. We like this part, because now we're older, you can just stroll along, whereas the north end is quite hard work. Here you can extend your walk as far as you like,

Barbara
People shouldn't be put off by thinking it could be a challenge. It needn't be a challenge. It can be if you want it to be but it doesn't have to be.

John
Well, we came to this part of the world so we could get out on the hills. And we were disappointed this morning that it was very misty and we couldn't see it. So we delayed our walk until this afternoon when it's back to being open.

We have come here four or five times every year. Four 40 years. So it would be 200 times

Barbara
Well, you've got access in two points, particularly, pretty much haven't you, where the roads are. From here to North End or whatever it's called, is absolutely moors really. At one time, there were some cattle and some sheep, and we didn't think they improved the place. Because we had to open and close gates, which you don't have to here.

I have another birthday coming up, which is a bit sad. I will be 86 in a couple of weeks. So we select landscape-style walks now. Yeah, you can still walk even though people may think not. Yes, it’s hilly, but you don't have to go the steepest way.
