I am a UK-based photographer, filmmaker, and oral history practitioner with over 30 years experience of working across the creative and cultural sectors.
I am passionate about developing and delivering artistic and heritage-focused projects that involve diverse individuals, communities, professionals and stakeholders. These projects are often co-created and feature the production of new work, and consist of community events, training opportunities, exhibitions, screenings and publications.
As a creative practitioner, I use photography, film and storytelling to engage with diverse participants to record and share experiences and perspectives of everyday life. My work often combines audio, film, photography, and light, and is presented through publications and installations.
I am passionate about supporting people to develop their creative and technical skills. I offer different kinds of creative and practical workshops around photography, oral history and filmmaking.
In 2021 I up the Living Memory Project CIC which specialises in working with partner organisations and groups to deliver community-based projects that engage with aspects of heritage, life story and the importance of belonging.
